St Declan’s Pattern Festival
Our friends in the [2] Ardmore Pattern Festival have put a modern face on a 1500 year old tradition by relaunching their website. The website represents a modern revival of the large scale festival, while the [3] Pattern tradition has never waned in recent times. The 19th century festival, in particular, has been studied by [4] Dr Stiofán Ó Cadhla of UCC Folklore department.
