Roscrea Spring Conference 2009
This time last year we were based up on the N7 in North Tipperary, working on the road between Nenagh and Roscrea. Besides excavating a series of sites the project was also an opportunity to meet George Cunningham again. George is on his 44th Consecutive Conference based at Mt St Joseph Abbey in Roscrea and this years spring conference concentrates on pagan/christian transitions in Irish archaeology and history.
