Wessex Archaeology test trenches evident in google aerial photos

Tom Goskar of Wessex Archaeology (exemplars of online archaeology) points out that some of their test trenches (see the scars at the bottom of the image) are evident in Google map’s aerial photographs. The location of such test trenches used to be largely recorded only in the project archives and final reports - now this information is seeping out into publicly held/available datasets.
