This entry is part 26 of 37 in the Issue 10The excavation of the site at Kilshanny 1 revealed the remains of Bronze Age habitation that included a round house, a possible associated structure and an enclosing component.
The remains of a post-medieval field system were also excavated. Radiocarbon dates from the site were very diverse and the range of results included Early Bronze Age, Late Bronze Age, Iron Age and medieval dates.
